Finding suppliers and products

What it is

The agent suggests who makes the product you need, and which Russian companies already import it into Russia. For goods without mandatory certification (fasteners, raw materials, consumables), it searches for offers on the Chinese trading platform Made-in-China and shows them as cards with the price and the minimum order quantity. It works in the Chats section and in the Agent panel inside a spreadsheet.

How to use it

1. Open New chat or the Agent panel in a spreadsheet, and write what you are looking for: the product name, the TN VED code, and, if you like, the country (“centrifugal pumps from China”).
2. Under Steps you can see what the agent is doing: Searching for suppliers: …, Looking at the supplier: … or Looking at the showcase: ….
3. A search in the supplier database gives up to 25 factories. The higher ones are those whose product is brought in by more Russian companies. For each one you see: the country, how many companies bring its product in, how many documents it has and how many of them are valid, and for which years it appears in the data.
4. Ask about a specific factory: the agent shows which products it makes (up to 8 product codes) and which companies in Russia bring in its goods (up to 10 companies, with their ИНН). You can check them right there.
5. For products outside the database, the agent searches the platform. Under the answer, a strip of up to 10 cards appears: a photo, the name, the price or price on request, the minimum order from …, the seller with the label Factory or Mediator, the city, and the main reason why the card is in the list (in the interface language). The other reasons are in the tooltip that appears on hover. The strip scrolls sideways. A click opens the product on the platform in a new tab.
6. Above the strip is a line: Showcase: N suppliers for the request “…” · M shown · data as of .
7. Under the answer, Sources says where the data comes from: Unified registers of certificates and declarations — Rosaccreditation or Made-in-China — suppliers and products.

Limits

• The supplier database is built from the registers of certificates and declarations. It contains only companies that passed mandatory conformity assessment in Russia. Fasteners, raw materials and materials without mandatory requirements are not in it.
• The number of companies that bring in a factory’s goods is a sign of live business, not a guarantee of quality.
• The platform understands only English product names. The agent translates the request itself.
• The price on the platform is a guide for negotiations. The seller states for themselves whether they are a Factory or a Mediator, and not all of them do: without the label, there is none.
• We, not the platform, choose the order of the cards. Higher are those whose goods are brought into Russia, those the platform has checked, those who call themselves a factory, those with quality certificates, and those whose price is not above average. These are verifiable signs, not an assessment of reliability.
• The strip has one product from each seller.
• A repeat of the same request to the platform within a day is answered with saved data. A new visit to the platform replaces the earlier result for this request as a whole.
• The platform is contacted no more than once per second for all users. If a request does not get its turn within 15 seconds, the saved data is shown.
• The Supplier searches limit (per month) is used up only by a visit to the platform: Starter — 10 per person; Solo — 200; Team — 400 per person and 1 000 per organization; Business — 1 000 and 4 000; Enterprise — no limit. A search in your own supplier database, a factory card, and a repeat of a request within a day do not use up the limit. If the platform did not respond, the search goes back to the counter.
• The supplier database is rebuilt every night, together with the update of the registers.
