What it is

DUOSHAO Help is a public website at help.duoshao.org about how to work in the product: chat and agent, spreadsheets, account and companies, interface. The help opens in a new tab, and your work in DUOSHAO stays where it is. You do not need to sign in to read the help.

How to use it

1. Open. On a computer, the question-mark icon in the icon column on the left, above the notifications bell; hovering shows the tooltip Help. On a phone, the Menu button at the bottom of the screen and the Help row above Notifications. You can also open the help at help.duoshao.org.
2. Choose a topic. The home page lists the sections Chat and agent, Spreadsheets, Account and companies and Interface, with a card for each page. The same sections are in the menu on the left; on a phone, the menu is opened by the three-line button in the help header.
3. Read. A page is usually divided into What it is, How to use it, Limits and If something goes wrong. On a wide screen, the On this page contents are on the right; the date of the last update is at the bottom.
4. Search. Click Search in the header or press Ctrl+K (⌘K on Mac), then type a word. Results appear as you type, and matches are highlighted; Load more results shows the next ones, and Clear erases the query. Search covers pages in the selected language.
5. Change the language. In the header there is a list with Русский, 简体中文 and English; on a phone it is inside Menu. The same page opens in the chosen language. Addresses: Russian — help.duoshao.org, Chinese — help.duoshao.org/zh/, English — help.duoshao.org/en/.
6. Change the appearance. Next to the language list are Auto, Light and Dark.

Limits

• Opened from DUOSHAO, the help opens in your interface language — Russian, Chinese or English; another language can be chosen on the site itself.
• The languages are Russian, Chinese and English. Until a page’s translation is updated after the Russian text changes, the Chinese and English versions show the Russian text with a notice.
• The help describes features for users; it has no sections for platform staff.
• There are no pictures or screenshots in the help yet.
• The help is open to everyone and is indexed by search engines; it contains no data from your account.
